I'll have to go through my notes and links again to add something meaningful here, but if you study Nikola Tesla's work real closely (they don't mention him much in schools, but he's the father of nearly all modern technology) he spent most of his research time trying to find a means to harness free energy using a plethora of methods including earth magnets, cosmic rays, the ambient medium/aether (which we would now relate most to the Higgs Field they're trying to prove at CERN) as well as finding a means to distribute the energy effectively to the entire populace of the world. He was successful in transmitting electrical energy safely through the atmosphere, which is an amazing concept we should have been continuing research on by now. We could effectively provide electricity to the entire third world without installing anything but the transmitters (no running wire, etc.) which could be effective. We need to pick up where Tesla left off; he was a true altruist that was taken advantage of and suppressed by the beginnings of corporate energy control. This device mentioned above may very well be the first step in resuming Tesla's research and we need it to become readily available.

Are You kidding me, I love Tesla! He was yet another inventor humanitarian who wanted free-energy to be available to the world. Only like you said he was one of the biggies. I heard it was JP Morgan and his copper mines being devalued with wireless free energy were the "reason" why that was squashed. I believe that Tesla understood some important knowledge about electricity, electrical flow and electro-physics that has been re-discovered many times in many patents that have all been squashed and nay-sayed. What is needed is a mass effort of many people to own a collective research of these principles where the knowledge can be owned in common heritage for the good of humanity. I choose to focus on supporting technology having a safe home of common good owned by humanity to allow a birthing place for this emergent knowledge that has been waiting for the "common people" to realize that they are all a part of science and the development of sustainable technology. More important than a Tesla is a community consciousness organized and ready to receive him and his ideas with support and humanitarian ethic.
