Philanthropy Awareness

Page history last edited by daenin 1 yr ago

I am posing 4 questions on this page, however the main purpose of this page is attraction what will essentially make our mission successful the more that are involved the easier this will be??

What can we do to gain publicity?

  1.  Web resources: Links, tags, web banner exchanges, links to popular sites such as Reality Sandwich.
  2.  Radio show mentions
  3.  Public gatherings and talks
  4.  Promotion from volunteers
  5.  Participating in large events
  6. your idea here!!!!

What inspires philanthropy and angel investors?

  1. making it easy and tax deductable --Require 501c3
  2. web-printable brochures to give them to explain and promote it
  3. Having the right connections to people who are already doing great humanitarian work
  4. Your idea here!!!

What does it take to make a company non-profit??

Non-Profit: 501c3 status or other similar status, takes some time and attention to detail to set up well as well as some expense.

How can we gain awareness to change??

Face to face and in person- How can we help people to become aware and empowered to act with the wisdom and tools to act symbiotically to cocreate a successful and smooth transition into sustainabilty as a united humanity without disadvantage or slavery for anyone?

     Promote:

  1. Sicko for Health Care
  2. Who killed the Electric Car
  3. Zeigeist Addendum for finance
  4. Create Boardgames To transmit initial memes and invite collaboration to open-source solving the challenges of co-creating global sustainability.
    • "Zeitgeist 2" Or "Sustainable Earth Boardgame" Or  "To Freedom from Fascism"(with table top and online versions RPG or Sim video game aps for myspace and facebook hosted on private server) For those who tire of mobsters and monopoly this is an answer! lets give our wonderfully geeky videogaming and rpg communities a crack at something substantial.
      • Take your character on a Global sustainability adventure from:
      • Corporotocracy to Sociocracy
      • Fractional Reserve Banking System to a Resource-Based Economy
      • Monetary-ism to Common-good of all
      • "Profit based" group decision making to "Environmental Impact Based" group decision making
      • The Rat Race to Global Resource Abundance
      • Environmental Crisis to Environmental Symbiosis
      • Competition to working together
      • Planned Obscelescence to Eco-Perma-Tech - environmentally integrated technology that reflects our best technology is built to last and is easy to change reuse and upgrade.
      • War to Symbiosis
      • For every current or coming challenge we can collectivelly create a solution as newer versions of the game are created that feature the challenges and solutions offered by people who research options and then ad them to the wiki.  An open-source, online "game group" that maintains and updates the versions and is transparent may be created and each version tagged with a new number as updated.
      • We will need to keep it real and as close to realistic as possible so we will need people to understand and play the Fascism Corporotocracy side and the Freedom Sociocracy Side
  5.
  6. Your ideas here!!!

     Actions:

              1. Form groups on all the social networks

               2. set up monthly meetings to take action steps for those who choose to volunteer.

               3. Learn about Sociocracy online.

               4. Join Next Step Together.

One leg of the organizationcould involve:

Independent Media Groups:(Movie Makers, Permaculture- Entrepreneurs, and photojournalists, camera people etc) who post regularly on the web in an organized documentary style. This may be the most powerful way to get the word out. Most of the independent media I have seen is without video. (maybe I just haven't found the good sites).

hahaha I love the gaming idea that's great! how about a game called the american dream that just goes on forever and it unwinable accept after an extremely long time like 50 hours and then the last card you get could be a picture of a coffin.

or how about throw in leveling into game the system and
each level an understanding that we already have is reaffirmed
for example, one section of the game could entail agriculture to feed a town.
Within this portion of the game the object is to feed the town. buy seeds from the seed bank a hoe etc.
but if they use fertalizer the soil will burn out over time and the nutrition in the food will decrease and the population will get sick
the solution in the game is to compost the left overs and use that instead of the fertalizer

have real world prizes like a job at the end if they want

I like this idea alot!!!

I like your idea too. "The American Dream" is a great name! I like the idea of levels with sustainability missions too. It would be cool to have a job reward at the end and it would be fun to have access to a mastery round where you "go global interactive" if you can make it through all the levels on a local community level first then state then nation. In the go global interactive round, You could be facing real world challenges posed by world leaders, environmental scientists and sustainability experts.
